Piha is a fairly self sufficient town, however there is no ATM, liquor store, supermarket or petrol so remember to STOCK UP before heading out! Henderson Shopping mall or New Lynn shopping mall are the nearest to Piha.

The eating, drinking and nightlife takes place at the Piha Surf-Lifesaving Club, the Piha RSA and the Piha Bowling Club. and don't forget Murrays!
​Occasionally there is live entertainment by local and International musicians.
